I live close to the beach. But I don’t go very often. I don’t particularly like sand. When I say this, my friends and I become nerds and bring up the horrible quote from Star Wars Episode Two.

I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft and smooth.

Worst line in the movie ever! I saw it when I was…what…middle school? And I thought it was corniest cheeziest line ever…not to mention horribly acted! It came out totally stiff. Anyway, when I bring up my hate for sand, this quote must ensue.

But I go for my friends and I tolerate it. Just not often. I wish I could go back to this state of….something.
