    There wasn’t a real way to countdown to the end of the year because nobody really know the official time…but the fireworks went off and so I assume…that was the right time. ^_^.

This year, I only had one class.

    This year, I made little snowflake candy…thingies. I really wanted to do something but didn’t have a clue what to do until the last minute. I made 30 of these in 30 minutes.


    Tropical Soda Candy. The kids always love them because it’s different from the candy you buy at the regular store.


    This is the best card I’ve received. She spent a lot of time on it and you can tell.

Last week I was really sick so I didn’t get to go to a lot of the schools I work at. I think I had the flu, and I think the flu is going around. Have to be careful…But if I’ve had the flu already that means I’m good for this year right? Isn’t that how the flu shot works? It’s a good thing I have a pre-med friend who was always willing to check up on me. Thanks, K!

    My brother is over for Thanksgiving and I picked up him myself! My first time picking someone up at the airport…Long Beach, no less! I had to do a little circling…and pulling to the curb…and it was dark…I feel really brave. ^____^. Aaaand he is over for a week! Yaaaay. Aaaand we are going to go to Disneyland today! I feel like I still go there enough that I need a pass @_@. Pictures will ensue, and my brother takes great pictures so we are in for a special treat. I’m going to bring my Princess Aurora (Briar Rose) tiara today. And I’m going to curl my hair.

    How many times have I started a sentences what “and” today? Tsk tsk…my second grade teacher would be ashamed.

    Trying to do the MC Hammer/ Male Orc dance. Can’t touch this! Daa na na naa. na na. nana. Can’t touch this!

    Well, I didn’t intend on dressing up. I really didn’t. But I had the paper mask laying around from BlizzCon, and the tabard is something I made for last year’s BlizzCon, and the mark was laying around too….So I put it all together. I was going to wear my pirate costume…but I thought it might be a little too much. Unfortunately, I decided I wasn’t going to wear it to pass out candy because…I just didn’t think the kids would get it. So I only wore this around the house for awhile. hehe.

It was very chill and I got to eat some good old American grill foods. Henry insisted we try crumpling up potato chips and putting them in our hot dog. It is really “delicious”, as he would say. I suggest you all give it a try too.

    We play Rock Band for most of the day. I spent more time singing because that’s the job least people want to do. It’s relatively easy following the cursor for me, since, lets face it, I don’t know most of the song well.

    My best dorky friends ever.

    We call this song, The Emo Song, and my friend Philip sings it pretty well! His voice is a lot like the original at times. We are fortunate this time to have two token white guys hand out with us! <: P.

    Here are the fireworks. The regional lake near our house had fireworks every year. It’s enlightening to see it from another angle because it looks very far away, but my friend’s house still has a good view. The fireworks were stopped in the middle because a house was on fire. From where I was, you could see the orange glow coming from the nearby hill and smoke rising out. An hour later, the fireworks resumed. The house turned out to be 2 streets down from where another one of my friends lived.

    To give some perspective, the hill to the right has houses on top.

    While we waited for the fireworks to come back on, though we never knew it would ever, we sat on the driveway talking about the past, since I had known most of these guys since middle school. Here is an interesting story about Phil. It’s about the time when Blake beat up Philip after jumping to conclusions. Blake is the tallest guy I’ve ever known and Philip is the nicest guy ever too.
