Sticky pictures again

There is a sticky picture store finally kind of in the vicinity where I live. The only place that did sticky pictures soley was in Rowland Heights and it’s pretty far. This store is called Sticky Picky…I think that’s how it’s spelled…And they have crazy hats and headbands you can put on. The machines range from 7-12 bucks.

Conveniently I was already wearing my own wig so I didn’t have to add anything else that was crazy. I’m pretty crazy as it is.

Disneyland with Friends

I often wish I could get alllll my friends together in one place and do something together. It’s hard because we’re all older now with things to do. Half of my friends are working in the real world, some are back or still in school, some are living far away on week days, some just don’t get along with others. When lots of my friends get together and having fun, I become contently happy. Almost in bliss. I like to be surrounded by the people I trust and feel comfortable around…people that have supported me with who I am as I’ve grown up with them. My friends are wonderful people and I’m really fortunate to be a part of it all.

That said, we managed to get a Disneyland trip together! Bryan, Julie, Brandon, Paco, Henry and me.

Soooo cute! Brandon looks a little unwilling though….jK <: P

So fast my tongue is sticking out.

This is so awesome I wish this show was up when I was little. The trainer was an asian with an Ewan McGreggor accent. Totally weird but cool at the same time. I wish I got a closer look at him…

L.A. Trip

Honestly, I have to say, what is so great about L.A.?

Maybe I’m being a little stuck up south orange county girl, but LA is pretty freaky. The lanes are few and narrow, the drivers are crazy scary, and parking is pretty bad. I don’t think it’ll be something I’ll ever get used to. In fact, though, all these factors I’ve listed have to do with driving. So, if LA ever redid their public transportation, which is near impossible at this point, I would probably enjoy it up there better.

It was Caroline’s birthday and we went to Yamashiro. I’ve heard about this place and I had high expectations, but I probably shouldn’t have had such high hopes. The sushi was good, but not good enough for me to go all the way up there. Happy birthday Caroline!

We were driving around Sunset, and I glanced over at the House of Blues, only to see who was showing there???

Glay! At first, I couldn’t believe it. Was there an American band called Glay here?? We had to stop the car and check.

Omg…it’s true!

At 5pm there were already a couple fans, mostly Japanese. Later in the night when we passed by, there were toooons of Japanese. Where did they all come from? I really wanted to go…I mean, how often do they come to the states? I wanted to see Jiro and Hisashi…wah…

Then we went to the Standard hotel and went up to the top. I just have to say, that if you’re trying to impress me, don’t tell me you recently got a DUI. @_@.

Beach again. It’s a record.

Wow. I really feel like I’m a normal person living where I live now. Now that I’ve been there three times in the past..oh….month, the beach feels even closer than ever. But…I’m not sure I can still get over the sand bit.

I went last Sunday and we had all wanted to do a bonfire for some time. You have to get there really early so my friend got there around 8:30. I visited him for a little bit.

Some kids were using these small boards…and gliding through the tunnels of waves…pretty cool. Sorry my beach vocab is not really extensive.

Crash!! I like this sound.

Um…just how big will this wave be??

I tried to be a naga. Caught in…stranglekelp. I used to have to farm these for nature resistance pots for Naxx…..aw…I miss those days. Nothing beats 40 man raids!

Is this called dusk?

I’m a little bit of a pyro sometimes. “Mmmmfffmmfffmfmf! MmmMmffmmf!” Actually, my friend told me that people suspect that the pyro is a female! Something about….the locker designated for the pyro has a dress in it. I just checked on youtube…he has a pink…makeup bag of sorts with a flower print on it @_@.

Oh yes…lighter fluid! ^_____^.

Happy Fouth of July

This is the first 4th of July that I’ve spent with friends! It was very chill and I got to eat some good old American grill foods. Henry insisted we try crumpling up potato chips and putting them in our hot dog. It is really “delicious”, as he would say. I suggest you all give it a try too.

We play Rock Band for most of the day. I spent more time singing because that’s the job least people want to do. It’s relatively easy following the cursor for me, since, lets face it, I don’t know most of the song well.

My best dorky friends ever.

We call this song, The Emo Song, and my friend Philip sings it pretty well! His voice is a lot like the original at times. We are fortunate this time to have two token white guys hand out with us! <: P.

Here are the fireworks. The regional lake near our house had fireworks every year. It’s enlightening to see it from another angle because it looks very far away, but my friend’s house still has a good view. The fireworks were stopped in the middle because a house was on fire. From where I was, you could see the orange glow coming from the nearby hill and smoke rising out. An hour later, the fireworks resumed. The house turned out to be 2 streets down from where another one of my friends lived.

To give some perspective, the hill to the right has houses on top.

While we waited for the fireworks to come back on, though we never knew it would ever, we sat on the driveway talking about the past, since I had known most of these guys since middle school. Here is an interesting story about Phil. It’s about the time when Blake beat up Philip after jumping to conclusions. Blake is the tallest guy I’ve ever known and Philip is the nicest guy ever too.

Whatcha saaaaay I’m pretty late to this, but correctly I’m obsessing about...

A rare beach visit

I live close to the beach. But I don’t go very often. I don’t particularly like sand. When I say this, my friends and I become nerds and bring up the horrible quote from Star Wars Episode Two.

I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft and smooth.

Worst line in the movie ever! I saw it when I was…what…middle school? And I thought it was corniest cheeziest line ever…not to mention horribly acted! It came out totally stiff. Anyway, when I bring up my hate for sand, this quote must ensue.

But I go for my friends and I tolerate it. Just not often. I wish I could go back to this state of….something.

Interesting dream

Last night, or actually, in the morning (this was one of my later dreams) I dreamed something amazing.

Hostile aliens were coming to earth and we had to flee our homes.

Now…in my dream, my storyline wasn’t really thought through, because for some reason, we were all evacuating, but I mean…where are we supposed to go? All I knew was that I had to get out of my house.

But I couldn’t…why?

I was trying to get my valuables! As I ran for my house/room, which was like an apartment in a complex (think Evangelion housing), I saw my friends already ready with their stuff. Most notably, I saw my buddy Paco come out with a handful of stuff, mostly papers, laid out on his arms as he was walking out. On top, I saw something like a passport and as he was passing he said “yeah, I think this will work.” and in my dream, I think “omg, I need to get identifying papers or how will I be able to prove who I am?!?”

So I rush in, grab a backpack, and start stuffing it with clothing, everything that I see, I want to take. “aww my ballet slippers! just a long sleeve, short sleeve, sweater, underwear! mp3 player…psp…ds…external harddrive…stuffed animal…omg how much time do i have?!?!” I immediately think, the more I have, the more I can barter with for supplies! (yeah, I’ve read Alas, Babylon).

Then, I notice my house moving..and I look outside my window and indeed, the scenary is turning counter-clockwise. And A beam of light shoots through my house in the middle (suddenly I’m not in an apartment complex and in my usual home). So I’m like…”oh crap, I guess this is time up” and I just grab everything I got and run out the door, onto the street…and whiteout.

I suppose I failed.

After this dream, I was dreaming about recounting my steps. What could I have done differently? Why didn’t I know how much time I had left? Why didn’t I know where the aliens were? Where was I supposed to run to anyway?

Not long after, my mom woke me up with some healthy shake she had concocted and I told her my dream. She laughed and said that the only way to avoid that is to start packing a bag of stuff so I can just grab it in case aliens/zombies/rabid animals/godzilla ever takes over.

The thing about watching movies is: it’s enjoyable because you don’t really expect it to happen and we like to see how different personalities react. Cloverfield, The War of the Worlds, The Signs.

But…what if…it really happens? Those people in the movie never expected it either.

Friend’s Birthday
