Onami
I went to Onami for lunch today. Apparently my dad wants to enjoy his time before he leaves for Taiwan. It’s not like he’s going to miss the food here, considering the food in Taiwan is better, so I’m not sure why he’s insisting on eating in some of his favorite places recently. Onami has really good desserts, like chocolate covered strawberries (big ones) and green tea ice cream. They have good sushi other than tuna as well, and different tastes so you don’t get sick of all that salmon. And because it’s run by a korean owner, they have that really yummy spicy salad…it’s not kimchee, but it’s salad with a vinegar spicy dressing…very good.
All day today my computer has been acting up. I hard shut it off yesterday because it was taking forever to shut down, and today it took forever to load up, and eventually never did load up windows, even after I had repaired it using a disk boot of the windows cd. I’m not sure if it’s all fixed now either though, as it took about 2 hours for windows to start up for me to use it right now. Hopefully it will shut down completely tonight and it will be all good. <: /

As I am typing, I’m trying to remember what I did today….
Oh yes, I went to eat shabu shabu with my mom today. Mmmm…delicious. The restaurant I go to in Mission Viejo has the best sesame sauce I’ve had thus far. I’m sick, so I can’t eat the shrimp I usually order with my beef <: (. Is it an asian thing? I think it’s one of those things that asians just know…but are not sure exactly why. There are tons of other superstition….weird medical advice things…but I can’t think of them right now. The only one I can think of right now is you can’t eat too many mangos or lychee or you’ll get a nosebleed because those are considered “hot” fruits.
Anyhow..just errands today, home, a little WoW…dinner, which wasn’t very exciting, and then I went to my friend’s house where she showed me some of her Korean cultural TV shows.
