Wall-E

I saw this movie last Friday. It was amazingly great. I loved it! It’s almost as good as my Pixar favorite, Finding Nemo. Actually, there are so many good Pixar movies that it’s really hard to choose a favorite. I don’t really know why I choose Finding Nemo over the others. Maybe because it’s in the ocean and has a great soundtrack (but so does A Bug’s Life). I love the Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland too! Omg, best new ride Disneyland has had since Indiana Jones. No kid. None of those stupid new dark rides they have now with no ingenuity. If I want to ride a dark ride, I’ll go on a classic, not one about hollywood with cardboard cut-outs.
Anyhow…this wasn’t meant to be a rant about Disneyland. hehe.
This movie makes you love older technology and drool over new technology as well. Wall-E is a loveable machine that brings a new perspective about the things we take for granted around us. Wall-E’s love, EVE, is a spicy character, reminiscent of Angelina Jolie. The movie has a message, maybe two or three, about wastefulness, love, and the growing inability to tear our eyes away from our glowing lcd screens.
Oh, and this movie made me cry. You know a movie is good when it makes me cry!
I’m soooo Indy
I went to Disneyland for only a few hours. Why? Because if you park in the Downtown Disney lot, the first 3 hours are free! Free! And I have an annual passport….so…the total comes out to…Free!
Well…there is gas…and depreciation on my car. <: /
And it comes to no surprise that everyone was Indy crazy. There is a new little “show” they have that is Indiana Jones themed. It is on top of the shops in front of the Indy ride. A fake Indiana Jones does some fight scenes up there from time to time and I was lucky enough to catch the ending to one of the shows. I had no idea what was going on but everyone was cheering for him!
And…I got this hat > <. I really want to wear it on a regular basis! Do you think this is normal enough to wear… If I go hiking I will. Maybe I’ll wear it when I play Wii Fit! Wearing this hat makes me feel more adventurous.
Aliens in a temple?!?! Let’s do it!
I like it when Indy pulls his hat down when he tries to sleep.
See my pigtails? They mean business.
oOOoooo
Ahh…….
Eeeee…..
Grin!

Cheshire cat! My cheeks hurt smiling this much…and it doesn’t even look like that big of a smile!
How can you not smile after seeing this mug? Picked this baby up at Disneyland. If you go to the right store, not the emporium, but the store that specifically has mugs and a coffee store in it, you get a free cup of coffee or hot chocolate with a purchase of a mug.
I was actually at the Emporium buying something, and the girl in front of me was buying a mug that could be found at the other store, and I was really disappointed that the cashier didn’t tell her she could get a free cup of coffee is she just walked across main street and bought it there. I was buying a different mug that you can’t buy at the free coffee place, and I casually told him
“It’s too bad they don’t sell this mug at the other store, because you get free coffee if you buy over there”
and the cashier man said
“oh really? I didn’t know that. That’s pretty cool”
I don’t even think he thought to think “oh, man, I should have told that lady just now then”
bleh.
