Damon is a good guy
Filed in Droolworthy, April 8, 2009, 10:37 amApr 7 LF Johnny Damon had an interesting explanation for why he didn’t offer up more of an argument after a fan kept him from catching an Orioles’ home run Monday. Damon, who didn’t gripe about switching from his long-time leadoff spot to the No. 2 role, basically believes there’s no crying in baseball [...]
Sigh…
Filed in The Day Events, September 22, 2008, 11:39 am“It’s amazing. I can’t even think of a word to say about that,” Molina said after the game. “I don’t have much to say, it’s just great. I think everyone wanted to hit the last one here. I wasn’t trying at all. You guys know I don’t hit a lot of homers.”
Oh you…stop rubbing it [...]
Angels vs. Mariners and a ML Record
Filed in The Day Events, September 21, 2008, 5:17 pmI went to an Angels game last week. Blizzard was having a company picnic of sorts and my friend invited me to go. Yay free food! The asian inside of me is pleased.
Not only were our Angels (because the stadium announcer always says they are mine, so they are mine…ours) playing against the Mariners (Ichiro!) [...]

A happy mom
Filed in Droolworthy, The Day Events, July 14, 2008, 8:54 pmMy mother, the one who scoffs at me for dreaming about certain celebrities (“When I was your age, I liked some celebrities like Sean Connery, but I was never crazy about them with posters or anything”), is today, a giddy woman.
A discrete package was on our doorstep today and as I ran over and glanced [...]

I am encouraged to wear it whenever he starts.
Slow and Fantasy Baseball
Filed in The Day Events, April 12, 2008, 6:53 pmNot much is happening right now. I didn’t have to work at the schools this week because they are off on spring break! Pretty nice. Perhaps it’s time to get started on readings…but I’m so lazy.
I’m playing Fantasy Baseball on Yahoo! for the first time this year. Here is my team. We’re called “Strawberry Juice”.

Baseball caps
Filed in uhh...random!, October 13, 2007, 3:55 pmThere is something boyish that I like about baseball caps. I think I would give guys an extra 5 points for the baseball cap. Worn forwards.
