Plain
As I am typing, I’m trying to remember what I did today….
Oh yes, I went to eat shabu shabu with my mom today. Mmmm…delicious. The restaurant I go to in Mission Viejo has the best sesame sauce I’ve had thus far. I’m sick, so I can’t eat the shrimp I usually order with my beef <: (. Is it an asian thing? I think it’s one of those things that asians just know…but are not sure exactly why. There are tons of other superstition….weird medical advice things…but I can’t think of them right now. The only one I can think of right now is you can’t eat too many mangos or lychee or you’ll get a nosebleed because those are considered “hot” fruits.
Anyhow..just errands today, home, a little WoW…dinner, which wasn’t very exciting, and then I went to my friend’s house where she showed me some of her Korean cultural TV shows.
Ai Otsuka- Love Piece

Ai Otsuka- Love Piece
I’ve always liked Ai Otsuka. You may know her as singing the theme song, Planetarium, for Hana Yori Dango I, the Japanese version. She had a new album out recently and I was just able to….get my….hands…on it….yes. Anyway, I like this album better than her others, there are more normal songs to like…since her trademark is having those really wacky crazy songs that make you feel like you’re 7 years old. One of her songs were…3 Minute Ramen or something…Her ballads are the ones that make her though. From this album, I like “Renai Shashiin”.
Angels in the Outfield
I went to an Angels game with a bunch of friends last month or so and I forgot to mention ..oh wait, firstly, it was against the As.
The part I forgot to mention was that during the game, near the end when we had lost most hope of winning, we saw two women out in front, closer to the diamond….do the Angels in the Outfield thing. They spread out their arms and flapped them up and down. This is the kind of thing people joke about, or do it for maybe a good 5 seconds before laughing and sitting back down (or just doing it in your chair), but these girls kept at it. For a good seven minutes at least! Standing there…the two of them…I admire their courage.
It didn’t work though.
