Yardhouse
I went to the Yard House….
I had a cosmo for the first time, and it sucked. It tasted like…nothing! It was like water that goes down fiery. I couldn’t taste any “cranberry” or any fruit…it was kind of boring. So then after dinner I had a Thin Mint (like the girl scout cookie kind…). ooOoh that was good. Tastes just like the real thing, and when you taste the mint, you can’t taste the alcohol because the fiery part of the alcohol you feel like it’s the mint. So, in fact, it tasted just like a really minty chocolate. Genius.
New Webcam!
I got a new webcam yesterday, mostly to talk to my cousins in Taiwan over MSN Live. I think most of Taiwan uses MSN…I think only the US uses AIM, basically because it goes back to when people used AOL to get online because they didn’t know any better, and that led to people using it to talk to their clueless friends and it’s just stuck.
So I was able to talk to my cousin, Nathan, who is a couple months younger than my brother…so I think he’s 27. It was cool to show him around my room, and stuff I bought…he didn’t have a webcam but now he plans on getting it. Yay….now if only he could somehow sneak some yummy food over…
Onami
I went to Onami for lunch today. Apparently my dad wants to enjoy his time before he leaves for Taiwan. It’s not like he’s going to miss the food here, considering the food in Taiwan is better, so I’m not sure why he’s insisting on eating in some of his favorite places recently. Onami has really good desserts, like chocolate covered strawberries (big ones) and green tea ice cream. They have good sushi other than tuna as well, and different tastes so you don’t get sick of all that salmon. And because it’s run by a korean owner, they have that really yummy spicy salad…it’s not kimchee, but it’s salad with a vinegar spicy dressing…very good.
All day today my computer has been acting up. I hard shut it off yesterday because it was taking forever to shut down, and today it took forever to load up, and eventually never did load up windows, even after I had repaired it using a disk boot of the windows cd. I’m not sure if it’s all fixed now either though, as it took about 2 hours for windows to start up for me to use it right now. Hopefully it will shut down completely tonight and it will be all good. <: /
ugh…

You make me excited and frustrated at the same time.
And someone has to do something about those gross flies!
