Blizzcon 2008 Part 1- Day 1

Just got back from my first day at BlizzCon 2008. There weren’t aaaas many panels as I liked compared to last year, but it was still fun to see people that have the same hobbies as me! I didn’t take many pictures of the place because I wanted to save my battery life for the contests at night. Taking video of those sucks up much battery life. @_@. But here is what I have today.

The screens made it really nice to just sit down and watch. You didn’t have to worry about getting a good seat up front because the video camera was a lot better than real life.

Some of the art up there. All professional looking!

I like to see how many people are behind me. There were tons of people there. It was hard to get around the first few hours.

Blizzard got three huge rooms this time, compared to the two last year. That’s the walkway to the middle room.

Honestly, this was the best costume I saw and she didn’t win. That undead female is *dead* on! (teehee…). Seriously, the makeup was amazing and she acts like an undead on the stage. The hair is perfect and the outfit is very accurate. She should have totally won. The person that won was a draenei that sat on top of a huge turtle that moved. Yes, it’s amazing that it’s huge and it moves…but this undead female should have gotten at least some credit in the runner ups. I mean, look at those eyes!

I wore a hunter’s mark over my head today and I actually spent a lot of time on it. I’ve never used wire before and I kind of hurt my hands. No pictures of that yet either…but lots of people wanted pictures of me! Well, maybe just 4 or 5, but I heard a lot of comments as I passed by, or people passed me. Like…

“….she’s got a hunter’s mark on her!”
“careful! a hunter has targeted you!”
“….omg that is so awesome”
“omg hunter’s mark!”
“hahha that’s so funny!”
“awwwwwwwWwww!”

Stuff like that ^_^. Makes me happy inside.

I also got a nice complement on my shirt I made. Pictures of that later too. I just had to update.

Also, videos of the dance contest!

BlizzCon looks like it was good time. How do you feel about the Starcraft II announcement?

Perhaps I wasn’t as clear as I should have been. I was referring to the announcement that the game is being released in three parts, instead of one, but that’s okay. I look forward to your story. Peace.
