Mitsuwa love
There are so many home-ec things at Mitsuwa that are so tempting to buy. Those Japanese people really know how to make things that look so efficient and clean! You buy it and you want to think “This will really work! Look how wonderful it is!” and they really pay attention to their packaging. I bought this air freshener today. You should see the instructions on how to assemble it. There is a square felt piece you put over the felt inserts that soak up the perfume so that it disperses, and if you want an extra boost, you can press to spray. The cover says “Air wash, mist plus. Fruit flora fragrance (?)”

There are little colored transparent balls in the liquid that float around. So cute! What is it made out of? I almost want to fish them out but I don’t want to ruin their habitat! There may be a specific balance of chemicals that I don’t want to disrupt <: (.

I also got something I’ve had my eye on for awhile.

Mikan-chan. Lip cream! The label seems to say there is collagen in it “Koraagen”. oOooo. The reason why I got this is because it’s shaped in a cute little mikan! Kind of like the little Cuties clementines you see at the market, or manderin oranges. And it smells sooooooooo good. I wish I could waft some of this smell onto the internet. They have these in a bigger size for hand lotion as well.

You can smell it once you open it. MmmmM! Imagine this in your purse…eee! > <. Totally a summer must-have for me. They have a red apple one…and I’m sure I’ve seen another kind…I think it was peach. Peach!! Maybe I have to get that one too.
Weekend NorCal Visit. Hella hecka yeah!
Last weekend I went to northern California to visit my dear brother. Well, actually I’m not entirely sure why I went and I skipped some work to go, but my mom convinced me that I had to go. Originally I think it was for some other reason that seemed more important, but then it was just assumed I would go anyway? Anyhow, it was a “Let’s just go” trip.
On the way, I saw a real life starcraft! I suppose this would be…..terran. Must be a new model. StarCraft 3 secretz right here guys.

During the time I was there, I mostly spent time with my little cousin. He is so smart and a good thinker! He was talking to me about pokemon during an early lunch we had (yummy Dim Sum), and he was naming Pokemon that I had never heard of. He said something like “I wish I had Magic Star” and I was like “….what…?” I thought maybe I was out of it, but I’ve been playing the latest Pokemon Pearl for awhile and I’m on my way to victory road…
Later on, I found out why I seemed so out of it. Here is a look at some of his cards:

Insect Arma? Positive Charge Mouse? Thousand year old Tail? Accent Dragon? Hooligan Crab? Shark Beast? Seafish?

And weird stats, and numbers at the bottom. No original artist name… This is a fake! And a very bad one because it doesn’t even try to be real. No wonder my cousin was giving me all these weird names. I told my aunt, wondering if she knew she spent money on fakes, and she said she did. Well, makes sense then.
My cousin did really well on his Chinese school test, so his dad rewarded him with a Tamiya model!! And I ended up making it! ^_^. My cousin helped me though, handed me parts. It was generally a little too hard for him anyway, tons of small screws that he would have gotten lost, and wires that could be easily broken. He put the battery in the case while the wires weren’t connected and handed it to me. I was like “……oookay…let’s take the battery out for now alright??”

I’ve never actually made a model like this with a motor and wires. It’s reeeally fun! This particular model is special because it avoids obstacles like a wall. The head sways side to side and when it hits something, the body automatically turns as the head waves in the opposite direction.
