Slow and Fantasy Baseball
Not much is happening right now. I didn’t have to work at the schools this week because they are off on spring break! Pretty nice. Perhaps it’s time to get started on readings…but I’m so lazy.
I’m playing Fantasy Baseball on Yahoo! for the first time this year. Here is my team. We’re called “Strawberry Juice”.
I made this icon for my team page. It’s cuuuuute!!
Have a gander…

I’ve lost the past 2 weeks <: (.
Yoshida Brothers
I’m not sure if I’ve talked about the Yoshida Brothers, but I think I found out about them first from seeing their album at the Japanese bookstore and I thought they were really cool. They are two brothers who play the shamisen traditionally and modern with Western influences. You might have heard them in the Wii commercials. “‘Wii’ would like to play!”. Like that. And then the music starts.
Anyhow, they have a concert coming up! I read it in a Japanese ad magazine! I kind of want to go…but $35 is kind of a lot for me to entertain myself in the music…plus it’s a little far for me. Seeing them live would be reeeally cooool though. <: (.

Here’s Monkey Majik featuring the Yoshida Brothers. One of my favorite songs and pretty awesome music video.
New Theme
I’ve gotten pretty sick of the salmon colored theme I made awhile ago and I’ve finally found a theme I like.
I kind of feel like it’s the same, just different colors, now that I’ve been staring at this layout and code for a couple hours. <: /. Stuff like this takes me probably 3 times longer than people who actually know what they’re looking at. I have to kind of stare at the code like it’s a magic eye picture until it just comes to me. “Uh…maybe it’s this I have to change?” or “…this looks like what I’m looking for…”and then a whole bunch of trial and error.
-__-”. Hey! I’ve never had proper schooling for this!
So let’s dissect the header:
I have up Hello Kitty because she’s the original Sanrio cat. I actually don’t like her that much, but she’s the classic. I’m not going to explain why Cloud is up there, but it’s my favorite picture of him. Audrey Hepburn is my role model and here she is, in her dance outfit at the barre. I found an old school traditional picture of a classroom that I really like. If only classrooms really look like that now. Then I have Rappy and my character from WoW up because they will forever be a piece of me.
Sony Gift Card!

This lucky lady got a $15 Sony gift card for completing a survey at the Sonystyle store today! The lady must have seen straight through my girly looks and saw the helpless Sony dweeb within me.
She asked my mom, dad and me if we wanted to do the survey…and get a $15 gift card and my hand shot straight up! Among the things asked were impressions on factors like pricing, store layout, and technology. They also asked my opinion on Apple and Bose. Hm….someone feels threatened. They also asked if we had any of “these” products (everything you can manage to find at an electronics store) and I was like @_@…I think we have all these.

My dad is buying the 52″ Sony Bravia XBR LCD HDTV tomorrow. Hooking the PS3 up to this because I don’t want to run the projector for long periods of time playing games. Although…I’ll miss the 110″ glory. Yesterday we were watching the baseball game in HD on the projector. You can totally tell a difference in quality after watching the extra innings quality and the people on the screen are practically life sized. At the store, we saw the 70″ one of the same XBR series. It’s a cool $33,000. You can buy a nice car with that amount. Mmhm. I don’t think it’s worth it just for the size. You’ll end up regretting in the next few years. Oh! And I showed my dad the OLED screen…the tiny super thin one. You have to see it in person to really appreciate it. It was a father-daughter drooling bond we shared ^_^.
