So I was reminded that there is a lot of Enka at this show, but it’s not that bad because I can change channels, but I’m really glad I stuck around to watch the one Enka singer who played the shamisen like a guitar over her shoulder, and there were lots of girls behind her playing the same thing…that was pretty cool. I hope I can find a video of that somewhere…I didn’t catch her name though <: (

Angela Aki didn’t sing her beeest best, but she was still really good. She’s so emotional when she sings, it’s hard not to get caught in it.

We all know Ayumi Hamasaki can’t really sing live, but she’s there every year.

Leah Dizon sings worse than Ayumi. @_@. Wow. Why is she a singer….she should stick to modeling.

Gackt was reeeeally surprising! I don’t usually like him, and he’s a little weird to me, but I was really digging the gothic samurai outfits, the amazing set they had to create just for him, and the rock ballad he sang. Is he in a drama? I think it suits it really well! If you don’t watch any of the videos here, at least try this one. Here it is:

Really surprised at that. I think his face is really anime-like. If you watched or read Hikaru no Go, he looks like Sai.
