Lessons from Clifford the Big Red Dog
Who remembers Clifford the Big Red Dog? One of my favorite books growing up. I was so jealous of Emily Elizabeth!

If you don’t know, they have a TV show that still runs on now, and while channel surfing early in the morning, I happened on this show. Long story short, it was teaching kids that when you play with too many “high tech” stuff, you might miss out on a lot.
On of Emily Elizabeth’s friends went on a camping trip with her, and was playing a hand held game while everyone else was marveling at butterflies, and she ends up scaring the butterflies away while screaming that she beat whatever level she was on. And then she busts out her portable heating mini pool instead of splashing in the cold waterfall with the others. And she had a house like tent where she cooks a microwave dinner instead of roasting hot dogs over the fire. Stuff like that. In the end, she watches the stars with everyone else.
It’s kind of a nice story, and reminds us to look away from our computers once in awhile.
But not too long because that undead is going to stealing my node.
I’m kidding. I totally wouldn’t care.
Actually I would, but not because I lost the node, but because that’s just so wrong. I hate it when you’re killing mobs around a node you’re trying to get, and someone just swoops down and loots it.
Wait, what was I talking about again?
Wishlist
The only things left on my wishlist are:
Boots: rainboots, or black knee high. I’m extremely picky when it comes to boots though, so this must be a personal buy.
Some awesome PS3 game. As of now, that is only Heavenly Sword for me.
Rock Band for PS3
Good health
Tickets to Taiwan, thanks!
Desktop
Here is a glimpse of my desktop right now. Click for a bigger pic. I’ve added a new gadget for the holidays…the lights twinkle when I mouse over it. ^_^ cuuuuute. Especially because we’re not putting up a tree this year at the house.
There is a also a new calendar one the I put out on to the desktop, instead of the sidebar. This one is nicer than the default calendar one because you can add notes to actual dates and they become highlighted. You can also change the color scheme and stuff.
Good Morning

I just wanted to say that I’m still alive! I’m taking this break very seriously. Just one more week of work and they’re off for winter break too!
