The more days after the fact, the less I want to talk about it, but I suppose I could put up a couple pictures. I didn’t bring a real camera, I brought my camera phone.

There was a karaoke station and a lot of people used it. A lot. The guitar hero station was smaller, and mostly the same guys over and over again, playing at expert level. I’ve never really gotten to play guitar hero. It’s kind of expensive and something more fun to play with with more people. Rock band sounds more fun to me, but also even more expensive.

Yummy…chocolate..coffee…mousse ish…dessert. The holly was made out of sugar and those are pomegranates seeds.

The dinner was reeeeeeally good. There was this steak….and this chicken….the steak….aaah it like…melted in my mouth. I barely had to chew. And the chicken was moist and I felt like they beat the heck out of it or something because the texture was strandless.

I played at the casino most of the time. Everyone gets 500 dollars worth in chips (fake dollars), and I learned how to play blackjack. Near the end I was able to think more strategically. What was funny was that I didn’t know I was playing against the dealer, so while he was passing out the first hand…I was like…..why am I able to see everyone’s cards….because I’ve never played blackjack in the casino way…I’ve always just played it one on one with my brother or mom or something.

Something that really bugged me was what some people wore. I’m fine with eurasian couples, that’s how we get people like Keanu Reeves, but it bugs me when the asian girl in the couple acts super asian. Why? I expect the asian girl to be a normal girl, and not have to act super asian for her to be with a white guy. At the party, a girl wore a qi pao (or cheong sam if you’re canto like that) arm in arm with a white guy. That image just irks me…..a lot. To me, that looks like “Hey, look what I just picked up in Shanghai like week. Isn’t she exotic?”. And less irking, is that there was a girl wearing a full kimono (down to the hair folding and the huge obi bow and the shoes). Okay…..yes it was pretty……but why?!? And she wasn’t Japanese. And another girl….wore a black elegant gothic lolita outfit that just didn’t seem to fit her. Just…weird….stuff.

And actually, I was more okay with the EGL, but I don’t think she chose a good dress for her.
