Passion
You know the thing I love the most?
Passion.
And I love watching it in men especially.
This might not exactly be passion, but at work, when I see boys working hard on a problem they’ve posed for themselves, or their classmates, it makes me really happy. It’s biased, probably, that it just looks normal that a girl is carefully completing her problem, but when I see a boy doing it…it feels like a miracle (especially since this boy looks like the “popular punk kid”). It makes me think…”hey..this kid really wants to work hard in a class that he doesn’t even need to take, so that he can continue to do well in the future.” And the truth is, in a class of 20 boys, only 2 of them are seriously working it out and helping others on the way.
I think what I mean to say is I love seeing men lose their tough, uncaring exterior and show something about themselves.
One of the best examples I know is my dad. His passion is photography and travel. When I see him flash an excited smile at me and shows me the best picture he’s ever taken, or something that he’s proud of, it’s the best feeling in the world; that someone wants to share with you their passion.
I like to be surrounded by people like this. It feels like a warm blanket, that even in our world, there are still things out there that make us humans, human.
I think the reason for this is because I don’t get to see men show their emotions very much, and in this day and age for kids, get excited about anything (especially school). I just don’t see many men wear their heart on their sleeves.
So, what is your passion? What is the one thing that makes you feel alive? Do you know what is it? Are you living it already?
Sometimes people tell me that I get excited too easily. Why not? If there are things in the world that are dreary and sad, why not take the extra effort to make something more than it seemingly is, or give it the excitement it deserves?
To close, I’m putting up “Passion” by Utada Hikaru. Also known as “the theme song for Kingdom Hearts 2″.

Sorry!
Sorry for the lack of posts..this is my busiest week ever so far. Tons of stuff to do…workshops, work, tutoring, school, counseling, life. Too much.
Ahhhh
Ahhhh!
And I had a lot of ideas…..I think I’ve forgotten most of them <: ( Really interesting ones too
Weekend
I went to a dinner thing for my friend, Paco’s, birthday at Lucille’s. I’ve never been there before, and it seemed okay. I got the BBQ Baby Back Ribs and they were a little too charred for my taste…and barely had any meat on them. I think I’ll stick with beef ribs instead of pork…pigs are too small maybe? Oh poooor Wilbur. Lots of happiness there and I got to see two people that I hadn’t met in about 5 years. I couldn’t even recognize one of them and I could only tell by his voice. Crazy stuff, growing up.
Since I’ve become really busy, I have to study on the weekends and today is the day. Tuesday and Wednesday are my busiest days. and all the other weekdays are busy is their own way, a combination of school, private tutoring, or work. Siiiigh…..My weekend went by so fast -__-”.
