Last week, I bought Battle of the Sexes to play with some old friends because we planned to just hang out. It’s really fun! A lot of the questions seem to be not gender related, but some of them were and it was surprising to find out how in touch to their feminine side the guys were, or how manly I was.

The question that I remember most vividly is the question… “Which baseball player had the highest paid salary in 2005″. So automatically, I think:

Me: “ooh….he has to be a Yankee because they are so rich over there….” and then…”okay, let’s see….we have A-Rod…he’s popular too….”

And I couldn’t really decide which player was richer than the other.

Then, PACO chimes in and is like “oh…2005….that’s the part that’s tricky…..you don’t know what things have changed since then…“.

So I become less confident on my A-Rod answer…so I’m like…okay….maybe it was someone who is suspected to be shooting up steroids or something…….

Me: Okay….I don’t know….Barry Bonds…

Boys: Final answer?

Me: ……yes….-__-”

Paco: It was A-Rod.

Me: @______________@ !?!?!??!?!
Violence ensues.

Why would you do that Paco??? Why? You knew I was right and you just had to comment and say it was tricky. Ahhhhhh.

As it turns out, Barry Bonds has the highest career salary so far:

1. $180,000,000 - Barry Bonds
2. $147,707,727 - Alex Rodriguez
3. $143,348,927 - Randy Johnson
